Deep seawater is a new natural resource. In recent years, the public's awareness of health related matters has noticeably increased and so has their interest in products and services that use deep seawater. As demand for products has increased, so has the demand for accurate information. This information is essential in the choosing of which deep seawater product to purchase.   The "Deep Sea Water" trademark was created at the Council of Deep Sea Water (Dec. 2000), in order to provide consumers with quality products and services and help consumers distinguish between products. This trademark can be found on superior products that are made using Toyama Deep Sea Water.   The symbol to the right is the official trademark of products which are made using Toyama Deep Sea Water. The curved loop at the top of the trademark represents the peaceful Toyama Bay and the quick downward swoop represents the quick drop-off and depth of the bay where the deep seawater rests. All together, the mark also is an artistic rendering of the letter "S," the first letter in the word sea.
